Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how TRANSCENDAI LLC (“Transend AI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit transendai.net, create an account, purchase credits, or send traffic through the Transend AI Unified API platform.

Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Account and billing data. Name, company, email address, authentication details, billing contacts, invoices, and transactional records managed through our payment processors (e.g., Stripe). We never store full card numbers on our servers.
  • API and product usage. Request metadata such as timestamp, model, tokens consumed, latency, originating region, and provider routing decisions. Unless you opt in, prompts and completions are not persisted beyond transient processing needed to fulfill the request.
  • Log and diagnostic data. Device identifiers, IP address, headers, and event logs generated by our infrastructure for security, abuse prevention, and performance monitoring.
  • Support communications. Emails, chat transcripts, and attachments you send to our support, sales, or security teams.
  • Marketing preferences. Newsletter opt-ins, webinar registrations, and feedback forms when you choose to share them with us.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and secure the Transend AI platform and dashboard.
  • Route traffic across model providers, calculate credits consumed, and surface analytics to you.
  • Process payments, send invoices, and manage account lifecycle events.
  • Respond to requests, investigate incidents, and improve reliability and performance.
  • Send service announcements, product updates, and marketing communications where permitted.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the rights of Transend AI and users.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

  • Trusted service providers that help us host infrastructure (AWS, GCP), process payments (Stripe), authenticate users (Clerk), send notifications (Postmark), and measure product usage (PostHog). These partners act under written agreements and are prohibited from using data for their own marketing.
  • Model providers you select in the dashboard. We forward only the payload necessary to complete an API call and metadata required for billing.
  • Professional advisors and regulators when required to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or respond to lawful requests.
  • Corporate transactions such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, in which case we will provide notice before your data is transferred.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and run experiments. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features of the dashboard may not function without them.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to deliver the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. API logs and request metadata are typically retained for 30 days by default, after which they are aggregated or deleted unless you request a different retention period via a Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

Security

We employ encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, intrusion detection, and regular security audits. No system is perfectly secure; if we identify a breach that affects your data, we will notify you and take steps required by applicable law.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, as well as to portability or to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

International Data Transfers

TRANSCENDAI LLC operates in the United States and uses service providers around the world. When we transfer personal information outside the country where it was collected, we rely on mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other safeguards recognised by applicable law.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in technology, law, or our services. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and notify you of material changes via email or the dashboard.
